—  About me, social media, and how to get in touch

I’m a graphic designer & artist based in knoxville, tennessee.

Hi! I’m Maddie!

I’m a graphic designer and artist currently living and working in Knoxville, TN. My current role is as a Senior Designer on Pilot Travel Centers’ creative services team. My work focuses primarily on internal design solutions (team member communications, events, recruitment and giving), but as our team continues to evolve, my day-to-day varies and may include work seen in our stores, on our website and app, in paid media, etc. Our team is the driving force behind Pilot’s visual identity and has done much to support and strengthen our brand throughout my time here.

Previously, I worked in higher ed at my alma mater, Troy University. I graduated summa cum laude from Troy with my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising Media in December of 2019 while also starting my first full-time job as a designer with the Office of Marketing and Communication on campus in September of that year.

I’m experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects & Premiere Pro, specifically), and I enjoy illustrating and creating pieces in Procreate, as well. I have experience in print products (postcards, posters, flyers, banners, etc.), digital and social media graphics, magazines, package design, branding/identity design & other areas of graphic design.

In my spare time, I love to paint, draw, garden, cook, listen to vinyls, watch UT sports (Go Vols!), spend time with friends and family, go the gym, be outside, or fixate on a new hobby.

So, take a look at my work, send me a message & explore. I’m always looking for a new creative challenge.

Stay creative!

-Maddie
